A Spiritual Youth: At age 3 Ajit walked into the Prayer Room to offer prayer imitating his parents. Growing up, he felt the urgency to read the scriptures. He received the word at the age of 13 and grew up conscious of spirituality, tried to live in God's Will to be worthy of grace of the One Supreme Force known by various names.
A Teacher: He earned his PhD from the University of British Columbia, Canada. Professor Ajit Randhawa retired as chairman of Science Division at a South Carolina community college after teaching in USA for 29 years, having been recognized with the South Carolina "Governor's Distinguished Professor" award.
Spirituality is the key. Youth are our hope: He bows to all faiths imbued with spirituality and believes that everyone has an inner voice, the divine awareness, only if one is attuned to it. "Evolution of Faith and Religion — An Exploration" is a message to the global youth to understand the unity of mankind and turn the tide of conflict and chaos around the world. Human race is linked biologically and chemically we are connected to the universe. Young minds, in their purity and innocence, offer hope that they will respect mankind in all its diversity to experience the innate spark that transcends cultures, politics, sectarian divisions and the lingering prejudices in the world.
Spirituality gives us the following blue print to become the human being as God intended: RELINQUISH: Ego, Greed, Hatred, Attachment, Lust. ACQUIRE: Truth, Compassion, Contentment, Faith, and Selfless service to those in need.
Honoring spirit around the globe: Randhawa has traveled around the world , met Tlingit Tribe of Canadian northwest and the Maori chief in New Zealand. He has visited numerous religious sites in many countries. He enjoys inter-faith forums, journals and books on faith and spirituality. He contemplates on God's universe within and in his cosmos. *****
